Finding the Right Quest for YOU (2/3)
I believe it all started many years ago.
You feel stuck in your current path, but the next step isnât clear. You fear making the wrong move and wasting time.
Hereâs the truth: Life has already shown you the right path â you just stopped noticing.
I believe it all started many years ago. The world was marvelous and full of wonder. You were a child.
As a child, some things made your heart race with excitement. You couldnât wait for tomorrow just to do them again. That spark? It never left. You just buried it under expectations, responsibilities, and âpracticalâ choices.
One of my favorite books is âThe Little Princeâ by Antoine de Saint-ExupĂŠry. Thereâs a quote that perfectly captures our experience:
âI remembered how my studies had been concentrated on geography, history, arithmetic and grammar, and I told the little chap (a little crossly, too) that I did not know how to draw.
He answered me: âThat doesnât matter. Draw me a sheepâŚââ
Life, like the little prince, doesnât care about what your studies concentrated on. It demands something from you. Something you were already pursuing without notice long before. The pilot in the story wanted to be an artist.
Life keeps knocking until you say yes to what was always meant for you.
âBut Fer, why should I be concerned with finding the right door now and not later?â
Valid question. Time is finite.
So ask yourself:
What excited you most as a child?
Can you see yourself doing it daily?
Why does it matter so much to you?
Are you willing to pay the price that comes with it?
The key to your future usually lies in your past. Answering these questions isnât easy, but itâs necessary.
